WHY DO THEY HAVE BLUE BLOOD?

if im correct,we have blue blood 2.it turns red when it reaches oxygen

Um i just came from 18/06 thus the name. Anyways scientifically speaking blood is red because of the hemoglobin in it. Theres white blood cells that fight off germs, diseases and other internal bodily threats, created in the bone marrow which is to mean the inside of bones say in your thigh. And yes indeed blood is filled with oxygen one of the same things that help digest food, think about that for a second lol, al though its mostly the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs that should sound more fun Anyways carbon is the bad guy here not oxygen oxygen in blood is healthy. I'm sorry someone and anonymous but We "dont" have blue blood.

Finally yes lobsters have blue blood. So do some other animals like some varieties of crabs etc. This is because instead of haemoglobin, their protein to carry oxygen is haemocyanin. Its just like a copy or pigment of our own haemoglobin with one slight difference. That being hemoglobin carries oxygen with the help of iron but haemocyanin on the other hand uses copper. Iron oxidized turns red, copper oxidized goes blue, well not accurately the color blue there does seem to be a tint of green in it but thats about it.
