Remember guys back then people didn't know stuff like marijuana or beer or cigarettes were bad! They probably already got addicted and smoked a lot of it when all along they thought it didn't do no bad when it did!

ok now "my opinion", cigarettes cause numorius kinds of cancers, each cigarette you smoke temporarily increases your heart rate and blood pressure, straining your heart and blood vessels. amputated. alcohol can : increases risk of gouty arthritis, increases the risk of cancer in liver, pancreas, rectum, breast, mouth, pharynx, larynx and esophagus. fetal alcohol syndrome, raises blood pressure, blood lipids and the risk of stroke and heart disease in heavy drinkers. hyperglycermia, hypoglycemia, kidney disease, liver disease, malnutrition, nervous disorders, obesity, psychological distubances. they can not link any long term stuff back to marijuana.. The short-term effects of marijuana include:

problems with memory and learning (11);
distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch) (6);
trouble with thinking and problemsolving (5);
loss of motor coordination; and
increased heart rate.

No Terri, in fact they don't. They don't care at all. The timber industry would have lost billions if they had let marijuana legal. So a fellow named Hurst ran a dirty campaign and in the end accomplished his goal: twisting the minds of all naive Americans and illegalizing marijuana....

Neither George Washington or Thomas Jefferson used the term "marijuana" It was known in their time as "hemp" or technically as "cannabis" In their time it remained an extremely important agricultural product with many uses. There is absolutely no evidence that either president smoked cannabis.

the declaration of independance was written on hemp paper.... and it is actually the most durable paper ever. old documents are in hemp paper.

search for documentary called "the union" very interesting.

Oh, and marihuana should not be considered a drug.
