Self injury simply means self harming. He possibly cuts/burns himself or maybe a number of other things. Why he does it (or if this fact is even true) remains to be seen.

It is a PROVEN FACT that he does indeed suffer from self-injury. In fact he admitted it during an interview once.

I THINK "Luna" and "Hari" are fans of Johnny Depp and they go against it because they don't like to accept that his "beutiful" (what they think) body to ruined by self-injury. Har har lol

he used to when he was a teenager but not anymore. i am a huge fan of johnny and finding this out made me love him even more because i self harm too and he beat it which is very reassuring so luna

Just got to say, Johnny Depp used to self harm, yes. I am in the process of reading his Biography and this was what he said about it:

�My body is a journal, in a way. It�s like what sailors used to do, where every tattoo meant something, a specific time in your life where you make a mark on yourself, whether you do it to yourself with a knife or with a professional tattoo artist.�

He went through a rough patch as a teenager, he was in with drugs and was in a rock band, and most people from that time would be the same. His parents also split up when he was a teenager which would have been really upsetting (i know this as i have been through it too) But, he has 6/7 scars from self harm on his left arm. And i think he is very brave for coming out and telling people why he actually did it and admitting that he actually did cut himself

it's true, he suffered from alcohol and drug abuse in his teens. even him hiself said as a teen he was very insucure he also has scars but very few as he Took more alcohol and drugs. even beloved Angelina Jolie Self Harmed As well as Lindsay Lohan, Drew Barrymore, Princess Diana, amy winehouse and Demi Lovato .
