Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny) was allergic to carrots!

and they couldnt find anything that sounded quite like a carrot for him to chew so during the voice taping he had a trash can next time him, he would bite the carrot say his line and then spit it out

Thats bull!! He wasn't allergic, he just hated the taste!! They tried to use heaps of other things, like apples ect. But nothing sounded right so they kept a bucket near him and he spat out the carrot the first chance he got.
