no not correct. christmas was celebrated on on december 25 to HIDE the fact the birth of christ was being celebrated. the fact that the pagan holiday was a great cover up because it was more celebration was the idea. and just to throw it out there. not all christians but the catholic belief, belieeves christ was born in january.

I was taught at uni that most scholars place his birth around 4 BC. Two reasons for this are: 1. Herod the Great's death in 4 BC. If he was, as the Bible says, king at the time of Jesus' birth, Jesus must have been born before Herod's death. 2. P. Sculpinius Quirinius was legate (governor) of Syria in the years 6 - 7 AD. He is most known for this period, but he is also believed to have governed for a period of time between 4 BC and 2 AD.

It was the monk Dionysius Exiguus who invented the anno domini era, which we still use today. He lived in the 6th century, and tried to figure out which year Jesus was born. Given the fact that he tried doing so more than 500 years after Jesus' death, I think he did quite well

WE JUST CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST ON DEC.25. AND THIS FACT IS WRONG CUZ MANY THEOLOGIST BELIEVE HE WAS BORN IN LATE FEBRUARY OR EARLY MARCH. PLUS IN THE BIBLE IT SAYS THAT MARY WAZ TOLD SHE WAS PREGNANT IN THE 6TH MONTH. (JUNE) SO HOW COULD SHE GIV BIRTH ONLY A FEW MONTHS LATER???? SMH
