Singapore is only 790 sq km. The train station in Singapore doesn't belong to Singapore but to Malaysia, their northern neighbour which is about 330,000 sq km large. Think of Singapore like New York. It has subway stations all around the country which no city in the world can ever match up to currently. That's why they're the only country in South-east Asia that's 1st World in status and has a GDP per capita higher that the US.
