Thought I'd start us off when I found this. How come the fact doesn't mention the depth? Indeed it's probably true that it will be 60 wide and 60 feet high but it could be like 3000 feet deep as cube/cuboids need 3 dimensions.
Yes I know it says cube which should give it away but still. I reckon all the gold ever mined would have a bigger volume than 216000ft².- Share

well.. could be possible.
a quick calculation;
60 feet = 18.28 meters. A cube would then be 6108.42m3
The density of gold is 19320 kg/m3
so this means you can fit 6108.42*19320 = 118,014,588 kg gold in that cube.
A quick check on wikipedia into gold reserves gives around 32,723kg gold.. so could very well be possible unless i'm making a big mistake somewhere in the rough calculations
