i think it is true, i have brown eyes and my bf has blue, i cant see crap in the dark and he sees everything...

This is actually true. In the same way that dark objects absorb more sunlight, dark eyes absorb more light as well. The difference is only pronounced in "high-glare" environments such as when driving at night. This also allows blue-eyed people to see better in low light.
