As long as the object reaches terminal velocity it has a good chance if it hits the skull

I'm a Physics major and the fact is definitely wrong. It doesn't cause enough force from the fall. The terminal velocity of a bullet (or a coin which is what the original myth is) isn't very high since the mass is so light and therefore easily affected by wind resistance. The object can actually get to a good enough speed to hurt someone though.

this couldn't happen because the wind hits the building and has no where to go but up, so if you did toss the bullet off it would fly back up.

Physics can explain it clearly by the equation E = 1/2(MV^2)
Where E is the energy (here it refers to kinetic energy)
M the mass of the object
and V the velocity
P.S: I've done no mistake in the equation and I'm not referring to Einstein equation which is E = MC^2 where C is the speed of light!
