russland is my neighbour country, and i know many russians, and i have never heard of it. voditchka could be translated in small water. (voda-water , and the other half is diminutive) Водичкa

No, vodka does not mean little water. It does comes from Voda, meaning "water", but if you put 'ka" in the end of a word like this in russian it points out your anger with that thing or person. Only possible with female-words, endig on "a", and not even every one of those :-P Russian has a lot of rules. Most used with names. Lena- Lenka, Anna - An`ka, Nina-Ninka and so on..
