It is saying religion is ridiculous. That it is just as likely to be a full-blown Jedi as it is to be eternally saved by a sky god.

And as an official Jedi myself, I would say that it is MUCH MORE likely that I am a Jedi than it is that Jesus will float down from the heavens once again, or that he will save our souls. What a load of old toss.

Point: Be a Jedi and live your one and only life. Don't waste your precious time or energy by believing in old hairy bollocks stories like the Bible or Koran or whatever text talks about sky gods and/or prophets.

..eeerrr this is not true. Website owners - check your facts first before you post. 'Jedi' does not fit the official definition of a religion. The story is an urban myth after Star War nerds were urged worldwide to create their own box on the national census. In fact the tossers who declared themselves Jedi in Australia are officially ‘non-religious’. BTW website owners – this took me a whole minute to verify. Shame you couldn’t do the same since its ur poxy site.

It IS true. Though not precisely in the same way as any of the above have described. In Australia we have a national census done every few years, and in this there are questions like, how old you are, what gender you are, where you live, work, what religious denomination you belong to, etc. This enables the Australian government to have a statistical story of the Australian population, and affects everything from urban planning to community services funding. Some people don't like it because they feel like it is the government keeping tabs on them. The question about religion is used to tell the government to **** off. Plenty of my friends have called themselves Jedi on the National Census form. They are not really Jedi, they are simply telling the government to bugger off and mind it's own business!!

There's like a pamphlet going around asking "wanna be jedi?" and a lot of people said "yeah, sure" so it became an official religion. Pretty cool in my opinion. I might convert from pastafarism. XD

Look it up! A radio/tv show host told everyone, to put "Jedi" as there religion in the senses, the amount of followers to become, a religion of that country is 5,000 well over
