Dinsaurs can come in many colors. They are a species, they wouldnt only come in one color. So to say they do not know what color they were is inaccurate.

just for the record a color is the thing at the top of a shirt that surround your neck and colour is the perception of different pigments in the brain.

WRONG. I am currently in school for paleontology, and scientist can actually use a laser that was built at Harvard ( almost positive that is where ) that can tell if certain chemicals are present on different imprint fossils that make up colors. They determined that a small feathered dinosaur ( can't remember what type ) had a chemical compound present that makes the color red. Figuring out that the feathers of this small creature were indeed red =]
