its not a planet because determining a planet doesnt just have to do with size, ganymede isnt even the biggest moon it has. titan is a moon that is larger than most planets

ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system.

to answer a few question.
1. Ganymede is not a planet because it's orbiting another planet. It's a planet of it's orbiting a star.
2. Pluto is smaller then oure moon yes but Pluto is not a planet so it doesn't count.
