Law of acceleration is 9.8m/s^2, it takes about 7 seconds for someone to jump down the CN tower. so the higher u jump, the more force is pushing u downwards.

This is bupkis. The highest high jump is 2.45 meters. Using physics, change in position=(initial velocity*time) (.5*acceleration of gravity*(time squared)). Thus, going down from a height of 2.45 meters, which works because they land on their backs and the initial velocity at the beginning of the descent is zero,
-2.45=(.5)(-9.8)(time squared)
solving for t, t=.707 seconds. This is just on the way down. Because the acceleration due to gravity is the only acceleration acting on the high jumper, this time holds true for the way up as well. Therefore, the most time a high jumper has stayed in the air is 1.414 seconds, almost a second and a half.
