Wrong, glass is a slow moving liquid it is in fact not a solid. Look at window panes of glass over 100 years old. Do you notice the wavy shape? thats gravity pulling the material down. It started out smooth and clear when it was first installed.

Look at what glass is made of. Now.. look at some hand made glass. Now... look at what they had to make glass 100 year ago. Of course its going to be wavy.

Glass is a liquid, and they are right, if you look at glass on a really old building, not only is it wavy, it's also thicker at the bottom.

Old glass is thicker at the bottom because they used to make glass by spinning it on a big flat disc, so the outer edges were thicker. They then cut this and mounted the glass with the heavier part at the bottom to avoid placing stress on the thinner, weaker glass. The theory is also disproved by the fact that some old windows have the thicker part at the top - is this anti-gravity glass? Forget what you've been taught before, or what you may WANT to believe... glass, I'm afraid, is NOT a liquid. End of story.
