Technically speaking, crystal glass is actually a Liquid that flows very slowly.
Technically speaking, crystal glass is actually a Liquid that flows very slowly. is a Technology Fact in the Technology Facts category.

Old glass is thicker at the bottom because they used to make glass by spinning it on a big flat disc, so the outer edges were thicker. They then cut this and mounted the glass with the heavier part at the bottom to avoid placing stress on the thinner, weaker glass. The theory is also disproved by the fact that some old windows have the thicker part at the top - is this anti-gravity glass? Forget what you've been taught before, or what you may WANT to believe... glass, I'm afraid, is NOT a liquid. End of story.
