I'm English and I buy canned snails when I'm in France and bring them home. Cooked with garlic, butter and parsley they are delicious - never tried one without the flavourings though.

people who say that phil. food is disgusting should try it! its not like we dont clean them properly before serving them! nobody said it was served immediately! :/

snails dont really taste much, it's mainly the stuff you cook it in (i think it's usually garlic sauce of some kind) make the taste
