When your heart stops beating . cells in hair follicles and nail beds stop recieving nurients after a period of time they die and cease to function.

Nope, skin dries and recedes, giving the impression of growth, but as previously stated, once the heart stops, so does every thing else.

This is actually false. Nails appear to grow because the skin under the nail recedes, and as for the hair, the skin is receding around the follicles.

i dont know about hair, but as for nails, when you die your cuticles rnt there (somehow i don't recall) making it appear the nails grow

This is true. Because after you die,.your body still had protein in its body and that produces hair and nails, even if your are dead. Because protein is all hair and nails is.
