I do not know why we lose bones. but it happens,when it happens.

Well what about the unfortunate children that die at birth... they were born and died with how ever many bones, whether it be 350 or 300. So this fact is wrong, if you think about it the way I did.

When your born you have more borns then when you die I dont know the excat numbers but i know its not 350 and 206 but it's around there anyway as we grow bones fuse together mainly in our skull and fingers that's why babies have the soft spot in their head because their bones arent merged yet

As babies we are born with about 300 to 350 bones. We don't "lose" bones; they simply fuse together throughout life especially within the infant to teen years.

actually that isnt always true. some people die because of accidents at young ages like if you get cancer or something. you can die at a young age, when you dont have 206 bones and only have 350 still

this means as a child u had 300 bones, but as an adult Your bones MERGE together to support your body alot more.

this is confusing.. since we don't have teeth when we were born and if teeth is considered bone then we got more bones we got older.

it means that as we grow up we have only 206 bones because some bones join together to form a new bone..

as said, this is true, when you think of an average lifespan of... think it is 88 years or something. there is alot of bones fusing and there fore the decrease.

and then after we die with 206 bones, we all crumble into dust so it really doesn't matter how many bones we have when we bite the dust. *sticks out toungue* so there!

Bones merge together to become one and we later get a few other bones, but anyway we don't really lose bones, we just combine them

Im possitive that this is true, and I think the bones fuse together as we grow, as various types of bones grow differently then others. I only just discovered that yes they do infact grow. Not sure how though.

Yeah, but what if you die when you are a baby, then you still only have 350 bones. The just of the fact is true, they just can't word it they way they did. Something like "we are born with 350 bones, by the time you are 6 you only have 206 bones", that is more correct!!

When we are born, we have 300 bones or so, that help with the birthing process, and they are mostly in the skull. They grow together after you are born. But as i type this i'm looking back and seeing that people had already stated that. Some people just don't listen
