"MR."- "The Great Gatsby" was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This is in reference to an entirely different novel that is simply entitled "Gadsby," written by Ernest Vincent Wright in 1939. 14 years after Fitzgerald published his "The Great Gatsby".
