there is such thing as quicksand. it is basically just sand that is so saturated with water. in the movies, they use quicksand as a threat or a dangerous creature. quicksand is actually nothing to fear.

Probably they throw the donkey first onto the quicksand then the donkey sinked. Then they threw the mule but the was on top of the donkey I think?

I tired this. I couldn't get my donkey out was the bigger prob, so i left it a week later my daughter was down the road ( where the donkey was) and saw him dead. i do not think anyone else should try this. she was very upset. she loved her donkey.

It is becouse mules stay still, but donkeys struggle.....i think. OR maybe its becouse since mules are part horse they have lighter theighs cousiong them not to sink! just a guess!
